This is an artwork curated by Dolores Mercado, it is called La Vida Sobre Papel. In this artwork Dolores goes deeper into the social aspects that is related to the world. SOCIAL: The artwork it seems to tell us about the culture by the different varieties of flowers on this woman's blouse. She is part of the Mexican culture.
POLITICAL: I can infer that the woman is part of a lower class society.
RELIGIOUS: The woman seems to be meditating about an issue that is very serious.
INTELLECTUAL:From the artwork it doesn't seem to point out any intellectual aspects. Do you see anything?
TECHNOLOGY: There is no technology involved in this work of art.
ECONOMIC: I don't see anything related to any economic status.
Reflection: The theme of the artwork is about violence, also relating to love, and Mexican culture.
This is a photograph that Carrie Mae Weems took on October 17.2009 for The Museum of Contemporary Photography. In the picture you can see a woman and what appears to be her daughters playing cards. Quality time is spent with each other in the room. My family and I also spend time together surrounding in each other's comfort. We enjoy each other's company, unfortunately when the day ends we must say goodbye. The mother is watching her girls enjoy themselves, yet she also seems to have her mind on something else.
